My Autoblog Formula

I just recently got into autoblogging and today I had my first $20.00 Adsense day!
I have 3 blogs, and I’m really pleased with the results.
I’ve been told by a friend that my results are above average for just starting 2 weeks ago.
I just wanted to share a little of my system in the hopes that it may help others.
Website:
I use WordPress for all of my autoblogs. It’s the only choice as far as I’m concerned. The SEO is so much easier than static websites and they are easy to edit.
Articles:
I only use 2 sources for my articles.
The first is a plug-in called Unique Article Wizard. This will give you high quality articles that are screened by human mods. The second is a site called Free Traffic System.
Free Traffic System is an awesome article marketing site where you can submit articles with 2 backlinks and get them posted to up to 30 WordPress blogs.
On the other hand, you can also submit your blog and get free articles posted to your blog. Again, these are high quality articles screened by human editors. Both services are free and they run on autopilot.
I belive that the quality of the articles and the fact that the whole article is posted instead of an excerpt is helping my SEO, as I have already seen some organic search engine traffic (not much, but the blogs are only 2 weeks old).
Now, in order to get accepted to Free Traffic System you’ll have to have 8 or 10 articles on your blog already, so post some of your old articles or PLR to get started.
Now for plug-ins:
1. Onlywire Autposter: This is a biggie. I have a premium Onlywire account (only $3.95 per month-well worth it), but you don’t need one. This is bringing in at least 40-50 uniques per day already (mostly from Facxebook and Delicious). The key is to get accounts at all 43 bookmarking services for max traffic.
2. WP KeywordLink: This is an awesome plug-in. It allows you to set up affiliate links with certain keywords, and it will automatically insert affiliate links where the keywords are in the blog posts. I’ve had 2 Clickbank sales from this already. I recommend you set up a redirect to cloak the affiliate links. I picked 5 good products that related to my niches and set up 5 keywords for each.
3. Google Analyticator: Obviously you’ll want to know where your traffic is coming from and how much.
4. XML Sitemap: Helps all of your posts get indexed quick.
5. Contextual Related Posts – Interlinks your posts for SEO.
6. Sexy Bookmarks – Awesoem plug-in so others can share your posts.
7. CommentLuv – Helps attract comments.
Theme:
I use a very simple and easily customizable Adsense theme. You can also put Clickbank hop ads in easily if you aren’t into Adsense.
I hope I’ve helped. My Adsense revenue has steadily been rising, and today it hit the $20 plateau. The past week it’s been steadily rising $1-$3 per day.
Also, you’ll want to pick a niche that has high paying keywords. I’m not going to reveal the niches I’m using, but you can find some good ones that don’t have a ton of competition if you do a little good old fashioned keyword research.
It’s important to note that I have not done anything for traffic or backlinks except Onlywire. If I put some SEO in like Scrapebox or something I could probably do a lot better, but the idea is to not work and set up more blogs. My goal is for each blog to make $10 per day on it’s own with very little maintenance. All I want to have to do with these is go in and delete the spam comments from time to time.

How To Find Keywords That Google Doesn’t Want You To Know

The google keyword tool is lying to you. It actually knows about a ton more keywords than it’s telling you about. And because almost all of your competitors rely on the google keyword tool or software that depend on it, they’re never going to find out about those golden keywords the tool doesn’t tell them about. After this tutorial you’ll know how to find thousands upon thousands of long tail keywords that…
  1. the google keyword tool doesn’t tell you about, and as a result….
  2. few of your competitors know about, which means….
  3. more money for you.
You don’t need any expensive software for keyword research. You should know how to do it manually before you start paying for things. With that said, just use the google keyword tool in combination with the technique I’m about to tell you about.
Step 1. Use the google keyword tool to find keywords related to your niche market. Don’t worry about competition.
Step 2. Type in every keyword in the google search box and append it with every letter in the alphabet like this:
mykeyword a
mykeyword b
mykeyword c
and so on….
For every letter you append, a dropdown list will appear where google suggests search terms for you. These are what you use as your long tail keywords.
Now here’s where google lies to you….
If you go ahead and search for these search terms in the google keyword tool, it will probably tell you that they’re barely getting any searches at all. Don’t trust that though. It’s been proven that google’s keyword tool is wildly inaccurate with the search numbers it gives you. These search terms DO get a lot of searches. After all, why would google suggest search terms that are never searched for to their users? Enough babbling and on to the next step…
Step 3. The keywords in the dropdown list are ordered by popularity with the most searched for keyword at the top and the least searched for keyword at the bottom. So while you won’t know the exact search numbers for the keywords (because google doesn’t tell you about them most of the time) you’ll still know how many searches they get in relation to each other.
That’s all you have to do. If you’re not satisfied with the keyword list google gives you then you can get a 30 times bigger list by doing the following…
Instead of only typing in…
mykeyword a
mykeyword b
mykeyword c
you can type in…
mykeyword aa
mykeyword ab
mykeyword ac
mykeyword ad
mykeyword ae
and repeat for evey letter in the alphabet.
This will give you a HUGE list of long tail keywords that no one but you know about. Granted, this is extremely tedious work and would take days to do…but the rewards are handsome. You can always outsource the process but I’m strongly against outsourcing keyword research. After all, what keeps the outsourcer from trying to rank for the keywords himself? Or even worse, sell the keywords to others?
Because of this I suggest that you automate the process. That’s what I do. Let me know if you are interested and I’ll share the tool I use to automate this with you. But be warned that I’m not a professional coder and I’m not big on bug testing so don’t be surprised if the tool acts strange every now and then.
These techniques work as well for youtube as they do for google. I got 4760 long tail keywords to work with just from the keyword ”how to”. That’s ONE keyword and I got 4760 more from it. What if you have 400 keywords? Using this technique you will never struggle to find long tail keywords again in your life.

Evaluate Adsense With Some Type of Balance

IB SERVE asked:

There are times Google’s heralded ad affiliate program isn’t in your long term business interest. Oh no I said it!

AdSense isn’t the unstoppable revenue engine for every eBusiness. Before I am taken out and flogged by the eCommerce pundits — please let me explain what I mean in my defense.

I make revenues from AdSense at a very high click-through rate. I experience high click-through rates with AdSense without resorting to questionable tactics like tricking site users with photos (the AdSense trick and tip dujour).

So my perspective is from one who has made decent income from AdSense to fund aspects of his business like advertising seminars — and outsourcing to his virtual assistants. Yes, AdSense is a legitimate and significant revenue source. However evaluate AdSense with some type of balance.

By now you may have heard about people like Joel Comm.’s six figure income with AdSense, or Jason Calacanis of Weblogs being on his way to generating 1 million dollars in AdSense revenue. Google’s Ad revenue sharing affiliate program for publishers certainly seems to be an eSales Nirvana for many webmasters.

But there are obvious and not so obvious times not to use AdSense ads on your sites. Let’s list – examine – and explain them below.

1. On Sales or Mini-sites

This is a no-brainer. If you are trying to sell a particular product that is important to your bottomline, you don’t want AdSense ads distracting your customers from either joining your email list, or hindering your site’s online sales process.

However I do see hybrid sites that are mini-sites or full scale eCommerce sites, with AdSense at the bottom of their pages. This might not be so bad since only 1% – 15% of your site visitors will either buy from you or fill out a form.

The thinking with this approach is you might as well make money from disinterested parties using up your server’s bandwidth.

2. SEO Business Sites

If your livelihood depends on search engine optimization or marketing for a living you might want to think twice about displaying AdSense Ads on your site. I can tell you this from personal experience. I once was on top of MSN for search engine marketing in my local area. I concentrated on my local area because I found people felt more comfortable hiring an eCommerce consultant locally.

One day my site fails totally out of the MSN index. After intense study I noticed that I obviously had a filter on my site from MSN.

I analyzed all the top ranking sites in MSN and noticed the only difference between me and the other top ranking sites was I had Google AdSense ads on my site. Someone at MSN felt that my AdSense ads, and perhaps to a less extent, my book on SEO, was getting a free ride in the MSN search engine database.

In fact I noticed that there were no sites with AdSense ads for at least the first 3 pages. Plus the sites with AdSense were only using 1 ad unit at the bottom of the home page (there were very few of them in the top 5 pages).

I knew it was strange to not have AdSense ads on the top Internet marketing sites. This prompted me to scan other industries where I noticed the same trend.

Many of the leading SEO gurus have sites that have been banned from the top listings by the search engines. It seems the more visible you become, the more of a target your sites are to the search engine auditors.

Some of my sites are still on the top of MSN with AdSense ads but that doesn’t mean they won’t also be targets in the future.

Let’s face the facts. MSN and Yahoo! have competing ad networks to Google’s, and this competitive situation is rife for a potential backlash against SEO sites with AdSense ads.

Many SEOs will point to exceptions to this position. However you have been warned!

Think about it, how long will MSN and Yahoo! sit back and watch SEO driven websites use their search indexes to fund Google? Did you know SEO in MSN and Yahoo(!) — is much easier to obtain.

Therefore optimized sites are creating an ad sales wealth transfer from MSN and Yahoo into the pockets of Google! It won’t be long before Yahoo! and MSN begin to devalue ranking on AdSense sites in their databases — if not outright ban them.

If you are in the search engine business stay search engine neutral, or create multiple sites for different search engines.

3. When AdSense Becomes Your Only Business Model

When you become so myopic in your thinking that you build a business solely on AdSense revenue — think again my friend. Why build a business solely on the largess of Google?

I don’t know if your realize it or not, but the sites making the real big AdSense money usually have a following that doesn’t depend on the search engines. Internet mavens like Chris Pirillo or Joel Comm have been on the Internet a while and have followings for their websites. Therefore they can consistently make six figures with AdSense.

These content powerhouses are an asset to Google and not the other way around. But do you think Google is going to sit back and watch just anybody make big bucks off of their top rankings?

If you do a search on most keywords you will notice many of the top ranking sites are news sites, .gov sites, or .org sites these days. The only exception is in industries where these sites don’t really exist like eCommerce industries (clothing, shopping, etc.).

No doubt in most industries you will notice a conspicuous scarity of AdSense sites in the top rankings. In other words don’t bet your future fortunes on AdSense.

An IPO based on projections of AdSense revenue isn’t in the future for the average eBusiness. Think of Google AdSense as supplemental income. Building a business solely on AdSense revenue isn’t just silly — it’s just plain stupid

Tips for Making $100 a day with HubPages

Evry hubber’s dream is to earn more with adsense earnings. But, most of the adsense optimisation strategies will not work for HubPages as you can not customize your adsense ads. I must tell you that, hubpages with the help of a technology called YieldBuild gets the best adsense ads and best price for every click. So, you need not do any optimisation. But, there are some tips that I learnt in the last few months with HubPages which I outline below.
The following tips are applicable to hubpages and these are based on my own experiences. I do not guarantee you will earn $100 a day from tomorrow, but if you constantly work hard and one fine day, you will earn more than $100 a day.
  1. Write a big first paragraph: Every time you write a hub, include a minimum of 150 word paragraph as the first module. This will allow you HubPages to insert a medium rectangle (336 by 250) adsense ads beside that paragraph. By having this, your visitors have a good chance of seeing the ads (without the need to scroll down) and maximum number of ads beside your main content.
  2. Do not inert any images beside the first paragraph: If you want to include an image, insert just below the first paragraph. HubPages will show you the first image that you have in your hub in the Thumbnails (in the front page). Do not include any module (Links / RSS / News) beside the first paragraph.
  3. Go back and review your hubs: If you do not have a first paragraph with images, or do not have a big first paragraph, then revise them all. Include a good lengthy first paragraph in all your published hubs.
  4. Some topics earn more than others: The good topics with adsense are finance, home tips, beauty and fitness tips, product reviews and How-To articles. So, write hubs related to these topics.
  5. Photo galleries do not earn much: I have to make a confession here. Photo galleries do not earn much from adsense. They bring more traffic to my hubs and photo galleries do not attract clicks.
  6. Text-rich hubs attract clicks: Write more text-rich hubs to get more quality adsense ads. Because, when you have only images or photo galleries, the adsense engine confuse what sort of content that is and include junk ads which earn only few micro cents per click. So, write good article sprinkled with the certain keywords across the hub to tell the adsense engine what your hub is related to.
  7. Choose your title wisely: Before you lock up the title of your hub, think for a while. Is the title descriptive enough to attract visitors? Because, even though search engines rank your site based on the keyword, after all, only humans read them. So, having a catchy title helps to attract visitors from the search engine results page. Once you decide the title, search that in a popular search engine and see if you need to modify the keywords.
  8. Separate your long hub into different modules: Break your long hub into different text modules. The rough guide is each text module should have a maximum of 250 words. In this way, you are giving more opportunity to insert Google Ads in the middle.
  9. Monitor your adsense earnings: Do not believe in all I say. Set up separate channels (you can track upto 180 different hubs based on their URLs) to monitor which type of hubs earn more money for you. Write those kind of hubs more often.
  10. Publicize your HubPage links and RSS to directories: Go and search for the directories that list websites or RSS. Add your hubpages profile page and RSS link to those directories. In this way, you attract more visitors and search engines will give more weightage to your hubpages.Check these 55 Active RSS Directories to Help Promote Your Feeds andhttp://www.toprankblog.com/rss-blog-directories/
  11. Search engine traffic matters: The people those come from the search engines are most likely to click on your ads. Because, they are the ones looking for some information or product. You need not do anything to attract search engine traffic. HubPages optimize your hubpages automatically to get more search engine traffic.
  12. Tags are everything: Add at least 15 tags to your hubs. These are the keywords that describe your hub’s content. Add only relevant and good quality keywords.

This is how you make money!

Right enough of noobs jumping in with a first post of “How do I make money” Maybe we need a new noob section where they have to read the tried n tested methods, anyhoo enough of that.
This is how you make money
Got your attention? Good! Sorry to be an arse but you new guys would be surprised how often we get asked.
Wake up early in the morning and head off to the newsagents, purchase all the daily national newspapers (and a subscription to a scientific magazine).
Go make yourself a coffee and sit down reading all the papers. Look for new products on the market, when you see one see if they have an affiliate program, sign up to it, build yourself a small landing page and link into the product.
Get a PPC campaign up and running immediately using only the product name as the keyword and throw some money at it, at this stage the competition will be tiny, if not, non-existent.
Go out and enjoy the sun. Your job is done.
If you have experience, use all the darkhat SEO you know to get you onto the SERPS results as fast as possible.
Case study:
Two weeks ago I saw this clipping in the most read daily newspaper in England (The Sun)
Willy big difference
A gadget that claims to lengthen a man’s willy by a third has been backed by medics.
The extender – called Andro-Penis – uses a plastic ring, two rods and a silicon band.
Sixteen men with an average age of 47 wore the device for upto six hours a day for six months. Most of them had their private parts boosted by 32%
Now more trials will take place in Turin, Italy.
Study Leader Dr Paolo Gontero said: “The extender device produces an effective and durable lengthening of the penis, both in the flaccid and stretched state.
The perfect marketing product, there is bound to be a huge demand for it, plus it has the added benefit of the embarrassment factor, men don’t want to buy something like this at their local store, online is discreet and that’s a major factor.
A quick search on Google showed the producers to be Andromedical, and hey look! They have an affiliate program
http://www.andromedical.com/webmasters
Before 8AM I had a landing page up and running (had to put in a call to the company to accept me onto the program quick) and my first sale came in at 09:15 for £150 ($217). 45% commission on this into my account.
Sales tailed off around 11AM before picking up again at around 6PM, it was constant for the next 4 hours and I netted around £1800 on day 1. By day two I had some competition on Adwords and the clicks were costing a little more, still netted over £1000. The sales tailed off as the competition became a bit more intense and I dropped the campaign after a week.
The earlier you get in on the hot buzz, the more you make. Use this information well as it’s absolutely golden.

Starting on.
(Always) Updated Collection of
Autoblogging Plugins and tips.
This thread deals with various autoblogging plugins and softwares around the net.
The ones you should use. From Keyword Digging to various tips in between.
The plugins, I use, are shared in a neat “wp-content” folder, which you can readily upload to your wordpress blog.
Most plugins/softwares here, are shared at the end.
  1. Keyword Digging
    • Google Keyword Tool – the best keyword analysis tool ever.
    • Market Samurai
    • Micro Niche Finder
The last two are paid softwares. But, nonetheless, Google Keyword Tool works best.
(watch for my Keyword Analysis thread.)
  2. Basic Plugins (Plugins you should have in any blog)
    • Adsense Deluxe – selectively embed Google AdSense and Yahoo! Publisher Network ads in your WordPress posts.
    • Akismet - so you never have to worry about spam again.
    • HeadSpace2 - an all-in-one meta-data manager that allows you to fine-tune the SEO potential of your site.
    • Platinum SEO pack – Optimizes your WordPress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization).
    • WP DB-Backup – backup your core WordPress database tables.
    • WordPress Automatic Upgrade – automatically upgrade the wordpress installation to the latest one.
    • Google XML Sitemaps – create a Google sitemaps compliant XML-Sitemap of your WordPress blog.
    • Google Sitemap Generator – generates a XML-Sitemap compliant sitemap of your WordPress blog.
    • Yet another related posts plugin – gives you a list of posts and/or pages related to the current entry.
All of these plugins are included in “wp-content” folder.
  3. Getting the content.
Getting content for your blog is, indeed, a decisive part of autoblogs.
The way, I do this is either fetching up some feeds, or fetching articles through some plugin.
I am not a big fan of Unique content, and in my opinion, it doesn’t matter if you have duplicate content, till you are covering up your ass well.
    • wp-o-matic – makes autoblogging a snap by automatically creating posts from the RSS/Atom feeds
    • Caffeinated Content – a nice little plugin to instantly fetch content from article directories, Yahoo answers, and YouTube.
    • WP VideoTube – if you prefer building Video-blogs, or want videos from YouTube, this one is for you.
    • Unique Article Wizard Plugin – Adds some unique articles daily to your blog, on assigned keywords. This one is useful, if your keyword is broad.
    • Autoblogged – well..
    • Rewriters
Converting your duplicate content to Unique unreadable content.
      • WordPress WriteAgain! – A plugin for rewriting your content. Though, sometimes repeats words inside the rewritten content. The owner is BHW member, and is saying to release a new version to deal with the problem.
      • Syncontent – A nice plugin to rewrite your content. Prefer this one, over WP WriteAgain!, atleast till the update is out.
    • WP Spinner – spins your content, everytime someone visits your blog.
  4. Some Tips.
    • Do not install more than 6 autoblogs on same hosting. As far as possible, try to use separate C-class IPs for blogs in same niche.
    • Try to keep your Content posting timings random.
    • Take special care of your blog themes and footprints.
    • Do not post more than 4-5 posts per day for one blog. Although, until the content is indexed by Google, or before Gbot comes to your site, you can add bulk posts at once.
    • If you are building a blog-farm, try to keep them unlinked. Also, the growth should be organic.
    • Try to randomize your blog designs, layouts, posting habits, adsense layouts, etc. The more is the randomness, the better are the chances of your blogs’ survival.

Guranteed Money Making Guide – 100% workable

Ok so here’s the basic mindset for this method. I’ve come to a conclusion that “pirates” however cheap as they come, are unable to get over one big manly flaw, SEX. And my tests have proven, that pirates PAY on a higher consistency than the average online porn surfer. This translates into much higher conversion rates, with a much larger somewhat untapped market.
Here’s basically what I did:
Step 1:
Get (or ahem purchase) dating guides (ebooks/videos/seminars) online. It’s best to get guides that concentrate on “getting sex/dates online via dating sites”. Scrape them and summarize them into an ebook less than 5 pages long. Too long of an ebook will decrease conversion rates.
Step 2:
Reword the ebook mentioning the dating sites that seem to work best for your methods. Add in 2 of your recommended dating sites’ affiliate URL in the beginning and end of the ebook (more about which dating site to choose at the bottom of this guide).
Step 3 (Crucial):
Simply submitting the ebooks with titles like “How to get sex online” or “How to find horny women online” is going to get you banned. Torrent/P2P sites hates free stuff, and I’m sure the few of you who have tried this would know best. So to combat this, you want to change your title and description to something like this… “$3997 Underground Online Dating Guide – Only sold to 10 people” or any variation to this. Basically you want everyone to know that the ebook WASN’T FREE, and it costs a bomb to get such an exclusive guide. Remember to make up a guru name like “Mr. Playboy”.
Step 4:
Start submitting the ebook to top torrent sites, p2p like limewire, rapidshare/megashare forums (this works very well) and finally private torrent sites (if you have access to them).
Step 5:
Change or rearrange a few sentences or paragraphs in your ebook, then change the title to something different. The basic content and affiliate link remains the same. Repeat Step 4.
Step 6:
Repeat Step 5 and 4 every few days.
Step 7:
Watch your affiliate stats grow exponentially.
Now I’ve tried a great number of adult dating sites, so here are two of my best performing STATS and results:
Disclaimer: These are my stats from various testing which I don’t track. So you should be able to get even higher conversion rates which turns to higher per signup $$$:
#1 – Iwantu
7 uniques per FREE signup ($7.10 per free signup)
71 uniques per PAID signup ($50 *35/week* to $100 *279/week* per paid signup)
By far my best performing dating site, choose the Pay per Profile for starters and once you see more and more traffic, start using the Pay per Signup campaign instead.
5 uniques per FREE signup ($0.35 per click)
55 uniques per PAID signup ($100 per paid signup)
My 2nd best performing affiliate site, only Pay Per Order is worth using.
Now although AFF converts at a higher percentage than IWantU, the amount of traffic I get on IWantU is substantially higher, even when I placed the IWantU affiliate link AFTER AFF on my ebooks. I would assume that most downloaders of my ebooks already have a current account with AFF. Ultimately IWantU has much higher profits. Don’t bother trying Rev/Percentage sharing, they have consistently only got me 1/4 to 1/3 the profits of per signups. Not worth it.
This guide is pretty staight forward as you can see. Try to use a valid proxy while submitting your ebooks. I don’t want to gloat about how much I’ve earned from using this method, but let me assure you that you shouldn’t have any problems seeing 4 digits per day once you get the hang of this.

Google Major Algorithmic Change to Search Engine

Google has announced a major algorithmic change to its search engine, subtle in nature and perhaps unnoticeable to many users, but one that should dramatically improve the quality of Google’s search results. With this move, Google is targeting content farms — a common name for low quality sites whose main goal is to attract search traffic by piling up (mostly) useless content, usually by producing large amounts of low-quality text or by copying it from websites with original content.
Google did not go into details of the change, which should impact 11.8% of Google’s queries (currently only in the U.S., with plans to roll it out elsewhere over time), but it does say that it will affect the ranking of many sites on the web.Google has announced a major algorithmic change to its search engine, subtle in nature and perhaps unnoticeable to many users, but one that should dramatically improve the quality of Google’s search results.

“This update is designed to reduce rankings for low-quality sites — sites which are low-value add for users, copy content from other websites or sites that are just not very useful. At the same time, it will provide better rankings for high-quality sites — sites with original content and information such as research, in-depth reports, thoughtful analysis and so on,” explain Googlers Amit Singhal and Matt Cutts in a blog post.
While the change will surely have many website owners up in arms (complaining that their website was unfairly ranked lower than before (we’re sure that in some cases they will be right), it’s a very welcome one.
The popularity of Google’s search engine is still second to none, but Google has been plagued by black hat SEO practices and content farms for a while now, with the complaints from users slowly mounting over time. If Google manages to put an end to content farms or at least significantly reduce their influence in search results, it will be an important step in regaining the trust of its millions of users.
